CAPA-TE is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organization. It is also noncommercial, nonsectarian, and nonpartisan. Its mission is to support educational excellence for K-12 students in the Tredyffrin-EastTown (“TE”) School District, and to support members to be informed of, involved with and empowered on public school and community maters.
The specific mission of CAPA-TE is educational and charitable:
Bridging the TE School District (TE) and District Chinese Parents, educating the public and raising community awareness on participating in and contributing to TE School District education cause;
Positively influencing TE community policy-making to better serve the community and Chinese community’s interests
Developing TE Chinese community, raising community awareness on contributing to TE School District, and creating more opportunities for Chinese community in TE
