All your efforts would be counted toward social service hours and our CAPA-TE and other CAPA groups are working together with Pennsylvania Governor's Advisory Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs, to co-establish a team that will promote voting assistance in the Chinese language and voter education for the 2022 election. This is the first time in the history of Pennsylvania adding Chinese, as the 3rd language, to the online voter registration and PA Voter Services available throughout the whole of PA, and adding Chinese to all voting machines, ballots, and polling places in Philadelphia. It is a historical huge milestone for our Chinese-American community! We want our students to join us and help on this important mission. It would be a great opportunity for your leadership development and a lifetime honor to work on PA's first trilingual election year, a historical year for Chinese Americans.

To celebrate the AAPI Heritage Month, CAPA-T/E aligned with Asian American organizations organized events on connecting AAPIs, introducing Asian cultures, educating Asian American history and giving opportunities to younger generations to meet Asian American role model in life.

This spring CAPATE invites you to discuss the topic of family vegetable growing. We invited an expert to share her experience of vegetable garden maintenance such as planting, seedlings, and lessons in the process of growing vegetables. Welcome to join our online workshop on 3/26!
CAPATE has organized multiple donations to support people in COVID-19 pandemic. Many CAPATE parents participated and generously contributed their time and money to help people in need. In Early February, we sent $3714.40 donation to effected people in Hubei, China; purchased 23 cases of USA made surgical mask for doctors in Huanggang, Hubei; and donated the remaining fund to a low income family in Wuhan. In April, when this pandemic impacted our local community and forced school closure, we raised $5625 for TE low income families. We have also worked with other Chinese American communities around Philadelphia to help our local hospitals and donated $8848.78 towards the purchase of 1214 protection gowns, 34930 masks (including N95/KN95, surgical and medical masks), 625 goggles, 5100 pairs of glove, 24 head cover, 5 pairs of food cover, and 5 face shields. .
CAPA TE successfully organized a lot of events and activities such as workshop of EQ Parenting, meeting with Local Service Candidate in Fall 2019, and seminar of College Life Talk and Rising 9th Grader Course Selection Forum in 2019.
